Pianiste
Born in Japan, Mahoko Nakano began playing the piano at the age of four.
At the age of ten, she played for six months in the weekly programme :
'Piano Lessons' on NHK.
After graduating from the Tōhō Gakuen High School of Music, and the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, she went on to become a soloist.

Mahoko Nakano had the chance to stay in France at the Cité International des Arts.
This opportunity led her to continue her studies at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, where she obtained the 'Diplôme Supérieur de Musique de Paris'.

Selected as a scholarship student at the Banff Centre for the Arts, she was able to travel to Canada for three months, where she gave a number of concerts with guest artists, including the St. Lawrence String Quartet and the principal bassoon of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.

and collaborated with the Quatuor Elysée on the album 'Au coeur du Romantisme Slave' ('At the heart of Slavonic Romanticism')
which was awarded 5 stars by Classica on the Kings International label.
Alongside her concert activities, Mahoko Nakano teaches at the Faculty of Music at Ferris University.
at Ferris University, she has been a guest judge at a number of international competitions, and has given master classes at national conservatories of music.
